The People of Bangladesh continue to amaze us, they live in challenging situations, yet they seem to accept life as it is, and slowly try to get ahead. Families are important.

Kim, visiting with a young man, who has Cerebral Palsy. 80% of the children seen at the CRP(Centre for Rehabilitation of the Paralyzed) have Cerebral Palsy, due to anoxia at birth. We were able to present a special CPR course to nurses, reviewing the skills needed for birth attendants, to actually prevent anoxia through stimulating breathing or ventilation with an ambu bag within the first 3 minutes of life.

Florence Nightingale, we hope to visit a museum in her honor in Turkey, a clinic used during the Crimean war. Her message "Life is a gift", and so it is...... This was a poster outside the classroom today.
