Moving Patients Workshop

Today was another great day, it was fun teaching our Quebec moving patients safely movements to the teachers and caregivers here in Bangladesh.  Our colleagues will add a note in the next few days, but each day is so full, we are often only having supper at 8 pm or so, by the time we are done, we are ready to hit the sack.

It was a bit of a challenge, teaching PDSB (Moving Patients Safely) to women in sari's, because you can hardly tell where their legs are, let alone seeing if they are shifting their weight from one leg to the other.  Tonight after work, Kim and Danielle made mini-pancakes so that tomorrow we can pass out a taste of maple syrup with mini-pancakes to dip into the syrup.  We'll also finish off our workshop theme and maybe end with a bit of Square Dancing (the Virginia Reel).  So far, it has gone super well, and I think all of us are pleased with the whole experience.

Better run, sounds like cool weather has arrived in Qc and Ontario.... see you in 10 days to get a feel for the cool weather.  Our temps are usually around 30 C, it's rather muggy, and we are all finding the heat fairly strong.  Being a Muslim country, we are well covered when we go out, so we are happy to get back to our hotel and have a cool shower. We are spoiled in Canada with such "comfortable" temperatures, and no crowds on the sidewalks.
